This puppet is based on a dream I used to have when I was a little girl.
In my sleep I always used to dream of other worlds and big adventures, like Alice had in wonderland and Dorothy in the land of Oz.
My dreams always started with some sort of creature coming in the middle of the night. The creature awoke me and I would follow him or her. These creature took me to other worlds where I experienced great adventures, Flying through the sky on rocking horses, walking through a candy forest....
Actually all my drawings and shadow puppets are based on these dreams. But for some reason this puppet means more to me, it's not just a puppet, it's a memory...

All of your puppets are so cool! I love the fox in this one especially, the little key hanging down is really fun. I think something that's neat about this is that you've had to choose very wisely what details you put into the characters, and that key adds so much demension for me to the stories that the puppet suggests.

Thank you, I like it that you have noticed the key. I have spend many hours on this puppet mostly because of the thinking, which details to put in and which not.

I'm really glad you think as well that the key adds more dimension to the puppet.
