Whoa, shadowpuppets!

I made some back in the early 1990s, and there are a few pictures of those I still have in my gallery!

Do you ever use colored plastic or celophane on yours?

I am very curious! Right now I can't visit peoples galleries on DA, because of some stupid anti-virus program I installed on my computer. But after this 'problem'is fixed I will definitely take a look at your puppets :)

Actually I live in the Netherlands right now :-) Well in many ways it (still) is a good place to live. I mean, one should not complain when he has roof above his head and enough food to eat, a good health care system and the streets are save to walk on....But apart from this I must admit Holland is changing drastically and not always in a good way. People seem to care less and less about eachother and they do not feel any bond with their land or the (cultural) history. As a result many beautiful old buildings are dissapearing and many new concrete buildings are appearing. I recently visited the village I grew up and I didn't recognize most of the streets. People just don't see the importance of preserving culture and history for the future generations.... Besides that I am a bit worried because I do feel like people get more racist and start forming groups, politics is no good either at the moment. I don't know but I don't like this whole individualistic time we are living in, but I guess this is not just a problem in Holland....
